The first Score match of the year was held January 28th at the Fairfax VA range. It was a very nice day for a shoot by January standards. Shooting at 200 yards Herb Llewellyn's 248-9x was top score of the day. Herb is on the right. Don Jones came in 2nd (in center) and Wayne Shaw (on far left) was 3rd. The 2012 IBS Membership Meeting was held January 13 &14 at the Harrisburg PA Holiday Inn and Conference Center . Below are links to some informal notes and a Powerpoint presentation from our President Jeff Stover. Actual meeting minutes will be posted when they have been transcribed by recording secretary Joan Borden.
Dr. Bill Sargent presents 6x Score Shooter Of the Year award to Dean Breeden , Dean won both 6X and VFS shooter of the year awards. Along the way to doing this he won 4 National Championships Hunter and VFS at both 100/200 & 200/300 Nationals.
Steve Sabo took top Shooter Of the Year honors in 1000yd.
Harley Baker has just received the Group Shooter Of the Year award from Sid Goodling.
Dean again , he has just received certificates for the 3 records he set in 2012 from Kent Harshman.
Long Range Committee chairman Stanley Taylor has just presented 1000yd Shooter Of the Year award to Steve Sabo.
